The Assembly, Leamington Spas stunning 1000 capacity Art Deco venue will host a rare UK live gig by HipHop pioneers De La Soul on Tuesday 6th May.
De La Soul are set to perform at The Assembly as part of a short UK tour celebrating 25 years since the release of their seminal debut album, 3 Feet High and Rising.
One of the most artistic and creative hip-hop acts ever, the trio from Long Island have had an unquestionable influence since their the release of 3 Feet High and Rising in 1989.
Famous for their early hits ‘Me, Myself and I’ and ‘The Magic Number’, De La Soul aka Posdnuos, Trugoy the Dove and Pasemaster Mase have continued making music up to the present day, including two collaborations with Gorillaz (‘Superfast Jellyfish’ and ‘Feel Good Inc’, for which they won a Grammy).
