Annual Contemporary Arts Fair: Discover, Gather, Give in Stratford-Upon-Avon

Written by on October 26, 2017

In its fourth year the annual Arts Fair Discover:Gather:Give is returning to Stratford-upon-Avon Town Hall over the Screen Shot 2017-10-26 at 20.24.54weekend of November 4th to 5th and we hope to celebrate another record year of visitors and sales.

There will be over 40 artists exhibiting more than 500 pieces of original lovingly made hand crafted art, offering an exciting and eclectic mix of painting, ceramics, jewellery, drawing, textiles, sculpture and book binding.

Judith Layhe-Cook, Curator said ‘Our artists have been chosen to provoke thought, to stimulate passion, imagination, thrill, challenge, soothe and calm. One of our aims of #Cafdgg is to exhibit a wide range of styles and genres so that each of our visitors, collectors and buyers have a chance to fall in love with pieces of artwork. We never know what visitors have in mind to commission as last year we had a ‘Proposal Jigsaw’ commissioned and we are pleased to announce that the wedding will take place next year.’

The artists will all be in attendance giving our visitors an opportunity to meet and commission art works in time for Christmas.

There will be a Golden Cup Café where you can meet friends, decide on what to buy and for whom, with tea, coffee from Monsoon Estates Artisan Coffee and cakes by Knead It! Bakery all served on a collection of elegant vintage golden crockery.

There will be a People’s Choice for the best exhibitor with a prize of a golden duo tea set

The Fair is free to view and open to all
