A very Brummie Halloween!

It’s that time of year again when Halloween is just around the corner so what a better way to spend it right in the heart of Birmingham. There are many spooky goings on taking place across the city, some of which are perfect for all ages-  ideal for a family day out to mark the 31st October and to keep the kids entertained!

From the 29th-31st October there will be a Halloween Trail at Stoneleigh Abbey, in Kenilworth where visitors can learn about the history as well as listening to tales which involve murder, something that will definitely send a chill down the spine. Tickets cost £18 per person and it is advisable to book in advance; this event is not suitable for children under 16.

If you enjoy Ghost Walks then the Midlands Discovery Tour is the ideal event for you, which is from the 31st October- 1st November. It’s a chance for people to see what Birmingham is like if they have not visited before and also be entertained at the same time by ghostly tales. The 1st November will include a graveyard walk and will focus on burial sites around the city, including two cemeteries in the Jewellery Quarter.

From the 26th Oct- 3rd November there will be Spook-tacular event at Cadbury World. There is a line up of activities available including a fancy dress competition for children and the staff at the event will also be dressed up. Visitors can look forward to entertainment and also some unusual yet tasty food including Sludge Casserole and Witch’s Broth. There is also the opportunity to buy some chocolate goodies and novelty items from the world’s biggest Cadbury Shop!
