To celebrate the brand new opening of the Central Library in Birmingham, various arts and events organisations will be teaming up to join in with the celebrations across the city of this fantastic new building!

The 4 Squares Weekender will be taking place during the 6th-8th September in and around Victoria, Centenary, Chamberlain and Oozells Squares; with free outdoor performances and activities it is definitely something that is not to be missed and provides a day out for everyone.

There are a range of performances throughout the weekend of fun which includes both UK and international artists; there will be performances and acrobatics from NoFit State Circus, Birmingham Royal Ballet plus visitors can enjoy the sound of Birmingham choir Ex Cathedra who will be providing entertainment in the Library. Performances will be from organisations including: Birmingham Hippodrome, DanceXchange, Ikon, mac Birmingham as well as the Town Hall/Symphony Hall.
