Radio Warwickshire interview Roger The MAscot WINNERS of 2013 eufest.
Roger The Mascot, a four piece energetic indie band from Nottinghamshire. Formed in January of 2012 by four dedicated musicians with the desire to create their own brand of authentic and catchy indie music. After only 8 months their debut album ‘Wired To The System’ was recorded and a 16 song live set written, that infuses elements of rock, funk, pop, disco and ska. Being branded by most as ‘the indie funk, ska, mix masters’, Roger The Mascot have played venues/festivals up and down the country building a large fan base in the process and quickly rising to the forefront of their local music scene. Full of fun and fresh energy along with a somewhat comedic quirkiness on stage. Their music truly does speak for itself. A productive first year playing around 50 shows including – the final of the UK Battle Of The Bands a headline slot at YNot Festival and the Grand Final of The OpenMicUk nationwide talent competition at Londons O2 ARENA!
